GPS NOTE: If you receive a "GPS Failed: null" error and your device does have an internal GPS receiver then take the steps below and you should be all set. Goto your blackberry’s home screen, then Settings->Options->Advanced Options->GPS and then make sure location services are on and not E911. You will need a view of the sky for the GPS receiver to work. Verizon Users: Verizon is dramtically limits GPS functionality and ONLY allows us to get an autonomous fix (i.e. standard GPS standing outside with a view of the sky). It will work outside with a view of the sky. Verizon Users: the 8800 can not "Search Nearby" as Verizon has disabled access to the GPS receiver for Non-GPS receivers. |
There are 2 ways to install the blackberry app:
- On your blackberry navigate to http://blackberry.densebrain.com
- Or you can download the "Application Loader" version, which can be installed with your Desktop Manager, just unzip the download and goto "Application Loader":
